Five-Day Acting Workshop by Krishti Sarathi Sanskritik Gosti Concludes in Sonitpur

Udalguri-Sonitpur, July 5: A five-day acting workshop organised by Krishti Sarathi Sanskritik Gosti, a sister organisation of Seuj Society, concluded successfully on Saturday, bringing together aspiring artistes for intensive theatre training in Sonitpur district.

The workshop, conducted from July 1 to July 5, was organised in collaboration with RKS Productions as part of its Summer Theatre Workshop programme. The concluding ceremony was inaugurated by Seuj Society Chief Advisor Sanjoy Baruah, who lit the ceremonial lamp and said the workshop had been completed successfully with enthusiastic participation from young theatre enthusiasts.

Actress Mousumi Alifa, who featured in singer Zubeen Garg’s latest film Roi Roi Binaole, attended the closing ceremony and led the final training session as the chief trainer.

The concluding programme was also attended by Sailab Bhattacharjya, President of the Central Committee of Krishti Sarathi Sanskritik Gosti.

Throughout the five-day workshop, participants received acting and theatre training from several experienced theatre personalities, including Sonitpur District Natya Sanmilan President Sujit Kataki, RKS Productions Head Rakesh Saha, advisers Jyoti Sharma Borthakur, Mon Mayuri Das, Nazmal Hussain Bhuyan, Kalpana Das, Amitabh Kalita and Pali Hazarika, along with noted actor Diganta Sharma.

At the end of the workshop, certificates of participation were distributed to all trainees. Senior theatre personalities Girish Chandra Das, Bhuvan Das, Bablu Ansari and several other distinguished guests were also present at the closing ceremony.
