Guwahati: Gauhati University paid a heartfelt tribute to Assam’s beloved musician and cultural icon Zubeen Garg on his birth anniversary by laying the foundation stone for a statue in his memory. The initiative, taken up on the university campus, is seen as a meaningful gesture to honour Garg’s creative legacy and the lasting influence he continues to hold over generations of Assamese people.
