Governor interacts with National Integration tour contingent from Binnaguri to Tawang

Guwahati: Assam Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya today interacted with a group of 11 students and one teacher from Binnaguri, who are part of a National Integration Tour (NIT) to Tawang, organised under the aegis of Operation Sadbhavana, at Raj Bhavan here.

The tour aims to strengthen the spirit of unity and national belongingness among youth, providing participants an opportunity to witness the diverse cultural and historical heritage of different regions of India.

Interacting with the students, the Governor hailed their enthusiasm and curiosity to learn about the country’s pluralistic culture and tradition. He said that such tours provide young people with a broader vision of India’s strength in diversity and inspire them to contribute positively to nation building.

Acharya observed, “Every journey is a lesson. When young minds travel to new regions, they not only see different landscapes but also encounter ideas, customs, and values that enrich their understanding of what it means to be an Indian. The more we know each other, the stronger our national fabric becomes.”
