HC Grants Bail to Victor Das, NSA Detention Keeps Him Behind Bars

Guwahati: In a case that underscores the significant power of preventive detention laws, the Gauhati High Court has granted bail to activist Victor Das in connection with a case registered at Azara Police Station. However, the judicial relief is purely symbolic for now, as Das will continue to remain in custody due to his ongoing detention under the National Security Act (NSA).
