Guwahati: The IDCA team delivered a commanding performance to secure a clean sweep in the three-match T20 series against the Inclusive Warriors Deaf Dubai (IWDD) at the DCS YOU SELECTS Arena in Sharjah, showcasing strength in batting, bowling and fielding.
In the opening match on December 11, IDCA piled up an imposing 212 for 5 after opting to bat first. Their bowlers then bundled out IWDD for 123 in 17.2 overs to register an emphatic 89-run win, with Santosh Kumar Mahapatra earning the Player of the Match award. The second T20 on December 12 saw IWDD post 134 for 8, but IDCA chased the target comfortably, reaching 139 for 2 in just 11.3 overs to seal an eight-wicket victory. Mahapatra once again emerged as Player of the Match for his match-winning display.

The final encounter on December 13 followed a similar script, as IDCA posted 187 for 4 before restricting IWDD to 124 in 18 overs, securing a 63-run win. Virender Singh was adjudged Player of the Match for his decisive contribution.
At the series conclusion, Santosh Kumar Mahapatra was named Best Batsman, Virender Singh received the Best Bowler and Player of the Series awards, while Vaibhav Paranjpe was recognised as Best Fielder. IDCA President Sumit Jain lauded the team’s dedication and thanked sponsors for their continued support, crediting it as a key factor behind the team’s success.
