Duliajan: The Indian Army flagged off a National Integration Tour under Operation Sadbhavana for tribal students of Tinsukia district, Assam, on Tuesday. The initiative is designed to provide young minds with exposure to the country’s cultural, historical, and military heritage.

As part of the tour, students will first travel to New Delhi, where they will meet the Hon’ble President of India at Rashtrapati Bhavan and visit prominent heritage landmarks. The group will then head to Mumbai to explore Indian Navy warships and cultural sites, before proceeding to Ahilya Nagar to visit the Armoured Corps Centre and School (ACC&S). There, the students will get a close view of battle tanks, witness Agniveer training sessions, enjoy tank rides, and participate in interactive activities.

At the flag-off ceremony in Duliajan, Army officials of the Red Shield Division under Spear Corps interacted with the students and their parents. Parents expressed gratitude for the unique opportunity, while the students shared their excitement for the journey ahead. Boarding the buses with enthusiasm, they looked forward to the experiences awaiting them.
The National Integration Tour aims to instill pride in India’s diverse heritage, encourage broader perspectives, and inspire the youth of Upper Assam to grow into confident individuals and responsible citizens.
