Hojai: As part of the “Har Ghar Tiranga” Campaign-2026, a grand Joint Tiranga Rally was organized on Friday under the joint aegis of the Assam Police, Forest Department, and “G” Company, Hojai, 1st Battalion, Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Sonapur. The rally commenced from Hojai Police Station and proceeded to Hojai Sports Stadium. The primary objective of the rally was to strengthen the spirit of patriotism, national unity and integrity among the general public, promote respect for the National Flag, and create greater public awareness about the “Har Ghar Tiranga” Campaign.
Hojai District Commissioner Shri Sanjoy Dutta (ACS), Superintendent of Police Shri Nirupam Hazarika (APS), Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime) Shri Vaibhav Rawat, Additional Superintendent of Police (Headquarters) Shri Rupam Bordoloi, DSP Smt. Bhashwati Choudhury, Officers-in-Charge of various Police Stations, Inspector Mukesh Kumar Meena, Company Commander of “G” Company, 1st Battalion SSB, Hojai, and Forest Department Ranger Shri Nayan Jyoti Rajbongshi, along with officers and personnel of the Police, SSB, Forest Department and other supporting agencies, participated enthusiastically in the rally.
During the rally, SSB personnel and participants carried the Tricolour in their hands and conveyed the message of national unity, integrity and patriotism. Awareness regarding the “Har Ghar Tiranga” Campaign was spread throughout the route, and citizens were encouraged to hoist the National Flag at their homes and actively participate in the campaign. The Joint Tiranga Rally conveyed a strong message of coordination and cooperation among the security forces, police, Forest Department and the general public, further strengthening the spirit of national unity. The programme concluded successfully in an atmosphere filled with enthusiasm, patriotism and pride in the National Flag.
