The initiative saw active participation from women, youth, elderly citizens and persons with disabilities. Various government departments, frontline workers, local institutions, self-help groups and community leaders worked together to ensure effective implementation of the campaign. During the Jan Sunwai programmes, residents directly interacted with officials and raised issues related to welfare schemes, drinking water supply, road infrastructure, Aadhaar services, ration cards, healthcare facilities and livelihood opportunities.
Officials informed that more than 3,900 grievances and public issues were recorded during the campaign. Several complaints were resolved on the spot, while the remaining cases have been forwarded to the concerned departments for follow-up and time-bound action. Health camps organised alongside the outreach programmes provided medical consultations, preventive healthcare awareness and information on various government health schemes, strengthening healthcare access in remote villages of Kamrup district.
