As the festive season continues in Assam and across India, devotees prepare to celebrate Lakshmi Puja, a sacred ritual honoring Goddess Lakshmi, the embodiment of wealth, prosperity, and auspiciousness. In Assam, the worship is observed a few days after Durga Puja, while across India, it coincides with Diwali celebrations.

Goddess Lakshmi represents not only material affluence but also spiritual abundance, fortune, and beauty, symbolizing the holistic well-being of life. Traditionally, devotees offer prayers and perform rituals to invoke her blessings for prosperity, happiness, and success in both tangible and intangible aspects of life, from financial stability to harmonious relationships and good health.
