Lawngtlai, August 22: A landslide has blocked the road between Lawngtlai and Longpuighat in Mizoram, leaving Sumo services and other vehicles stranded near the Rulkual–Lawngtlai stretch.
According to reports, vehicles have remained stuck since Friday, while a Sumo travelling from Longpuighat on Saturday was also unable to cross the affected section.
Drivers and passengers may have to remain stranded on the road until the debris is cleared and traffic movement is restored.
The disruption has caused difficulties for travellers and transporters using the route.
