Imphal, Feb 11: Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh on February 11 flagged off a 30-member media delegation for an external media tour to Vietnam, organised under the sponsorship of the Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR).
The flag-off ceremony took place at Yumnam Leikai in Imphal West, with the Chief Minister interacting with the delegation before their departure. He extended his best wishes, urging the team to make the most of the visit and wished them a safe and productive journey.
The delegation includes 25 members from the All Manipur Working Journalists’ Union (AMWJU) and five officials from DIPR, including Secretary (IPR) Shri Hungyo Worshang. Director (IPR) Shri Ahanthem Subhash Singh, senior members of the Editors Guild Manipur (EGM), and other officials were also present at the ceremony.
