Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh on June 22 inaugurated a three-day National Level Workshop on Reforms in School Education of Manipur, organised by Vidya Bharati Shiksha Vikash Samiti at the City Convention Centre.
Speaking at the inaugural session, the Chief Minister reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to promoting quality, inclusive and future-oriented education. He stressed that reforms in the education sector are crucial for the overall development of students and the long-term progress of Manipur.
The workshop has brought together educators, policymakers and various stakeholders to discuss important reforms and innovative measures aimed at improving the school education system in the state.
Highlighting the importance of collaborative efforts, Singh expressed optimism that the deliberations and recommendations emerging from the three-day programme would play a vital role in building a stronger and more effective educational framework for future generations.
