Imphal, May 21: Manipur Police have arrested a 26-year-old man in connection with a sexual assault case registered at the Women Police Station in Imphal East district.
According to police officials, the accused has been identified as Sadaf, a resident of Hatta Golapati Masjid Achouba in Imphal East district. He was taken into custody on May 19, 2026, from the Checkon Auto Parking area in Imphal East following an investigation linked to a First Information Report (FIR) registered in the case.
Police said the matter relates to allegations of sexual assault and is being investigated by the Women Police Station in the district.
Officials stated that further investigation into the case is continuing.
