Nagaon, June 3: A young man lost his life on the spot after his motorcycle reportedly went out of control and collided with an electric pole in the Tinisukia area under Juria in Assam’s Nagaon district on Wednesday, June 3.
The deceased has been identified as Sarafat Ali, son of Nur Islam, a resident of Tinisukia village in Juria. According to local sources, the accident occurred when he was riding at high speed and is believed to have lost control of the vehicle before the fatal impact.
The collision with the electric pole was described as severe, leading to his instantaneous death at the scene.
Following information about the incident, personnel from Juria Police Station reached the spot, recovered the body and sent it to Nagaon Civil Hospital for post-mortem examination.
Police have initiated further investigation to ascertain the exact circumstances surrounding the accident.
