NDA Candidate Dharmeswar Roy Holds Massive Roadshow in Bajali Ahead of Polls

Guwahati, April 7: National Democratic Alliance (NDA) candidate Dharmeswar Roy conducted a large-scale roadshow in Bajali on April 7, marking a significant show of strength ahead of the conclusion of election campaigning.

The campaign featured an extensive car rally that began near a prominent marriage hall in Pathsala and covered several parts of the constituency. Large numbers of supporters joined the procession as it moved through both urban and rural areas, with Roy interacting with residents and seeking their support.

Describing the turnout as an indication of strong public backing for the National Democratic Alliance, Roy expressed confidence about the electoral outcome in the constituency. He asserted that Bajali does not present a tough contest and maintained that there are no significant challenges to his candidacy.

Addressing supporters, Roy said voters in the constituency have consistently backed Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and suggested that the trend would continue in the ongoing election. He added that the electorate is expected to support Sarma’s leadership once again.

The roadshow forms part of the final phase of campaigning, as political parties intensify outreach efforts ahead of the close of campaigning for the upcoming Assembly polls.
