According to reliable sources, Mridul Baruah, Officer-in-Charge of the Gurufela Police Outpost, has been serving in the post for the past four months. Since he assumed charge, a series of stringent actions, sustained surveillance, and community engagement initiatives have led to the complete cessation of gambling, the banning of lottery operations, and the elimination of other unlawful practices in the locality. His proactive policing has earned widespread public appreciation.
