The District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) of Keyi Panyor district has announced the closure of the Potin–Kimin road following persistent landslide activity that has rendered the route unsafe for vehicular movement.
According to the DDMA, continuous slippage of earth and debris has resulted in repeated blockages along the carriageway. Despite ongoing clearance operations, the road continues to remain hazardous, posing a significant risk to commuters.
Authorities have issued a strict advisory urging travellers to avoid using the Potin–Kimin route until further orders. Commuters have also been advised to refrain from unnecessary travel in the affected area in view of the unstable conditions.
The district administration has further informed that residents and travellers can access real-time updates on the situation through the KP Suvidha WhatsApp Bot or the KP AI Voice Agent by contacting 9405456923.
