Pradyot Debbarma announces major organisational overhaul of Tipra Motha after VC polls

Tipra Motha founder Pradyot Bikram Manikya Debbarma on Sunday, August 3, announced that the party and its affiliated organisations would undergo a comprehensive restructuring after the upcoming Village Committee (VC) elections in Tripura.

In a post on social media, Debbarma said the reorganisation would include the Tipra Youth Federation (TYF), Tipra Women’s Federation (TWF), Tipra Indigenous Students’ Federation (TISF), Tipra Citizens’ Federation (TCF) and the Tipra Motha party.

He said the exercise would be aimed at strengthening the organisation by retaining individuals who are committed to the party’s ideals and share its vision for the future of Tripura and the country.

“The entire TYF, TWF, TISF, TCF and the Tipra Motha party will be restructured after the VC elections,” Debbarma said.

The Tipra Motha founder also cautioned against opportunism within the organisation, saying the restructured party would have no place for those driven by personal or political interests rather than commitment to its objectives.

“Those who are honest, committed and share the vision of a better future for our state and nation will know what I am saying. There will be no space for opportunistic people,” he said.

The announcement signals a significant organisational overhaul within Tipra Motha following the VC elections, with the party leadership expected to review its structure and reinforce its grassroots network across the state.
