Pradyot Kishore Seeks Legal Action Over Alleged Insult to Tripura

AGARTALA: Tipra Motha Party founder Pradyot Kishore Manikya Debbarma has condemned alleged derogatory remarks by social media content creator Amir Shokeen about Tripura and its people, demanding legal action against him.

Pradyot objected to the alleged use of the term “C#%tpura” to refer to the state, saying it insulted both its people and its historical identity and heritage. “If this is not an insult to us, then what is?” he asked.

He urged youth organisations YTF, TSF and TISF to lodge a police complaint against Shokeen over the alleged remarks. He also called on the police to take appropriate legal action, including sending a team to arrest the accused in accordance with the law.
