Nagaon: The Kopahera Anchalik Sports Association is gearing up to host the Rajen Borgohain and Gopal Borgohain Memorial Football Tournament, a prestigious invitational football tournament, at the Kopahera Stadium from October 26.
The tournament, which has been a flagship event in the region, will feature some of the top football teams from across Assam, including Shalbagan FC, Tezpur City FC, Warrior India FC, Bodo Land FC, Star Sporting Club, Kotahguri FC, Riverrine FC, and New Star Club, Dhing.
The tournament is expected to draw a large crowd of football enthusiasts and promises to be an exciting competition. The organizing committee, led by Heramba Prasad Deka, Mahendra Deka, Suresh Deka and Dikram Borgohain, has confirmed that the tournament will kick off on October 26 with a match between Shalbagan FC and New Star Club.
