Beyond Assam, ‘Roi Roi Binale’ is also making headlines for its widespread release in Bengaluru, where all advance shows have sold out across 10 screens. This marks a major milestone for Assamese cinema’s reach outside the state.

Unlike previous Assamese films that secured only limited screenings at select malls, ‘Roi Roi Binale’ has successfully broken into multiple premium multiplex chains across the city, reflecting a growing fan base and rising enthusiasm for Assamese storytelling.

The momentum surged on October 24 when advance booking opened and three theatres were declared houseful within hours—a rare achievement for a regional film in the southern metro.

This large-scale release was made possible through a collaborative initiative between the Assam Society of Bangalore (ASB) and producer Shyamantak Gautam. Their coordinated outreach ensured that Assamese residents and regional film lovers in Karnataka received widespread access to the film.

The milestone demonstrates the increasing visibility of Assamese cinema nationwide and highlights the powerful role of community efforts in promoting regional art and culture.
