Nagaon: The highly anticipated final match of the 77th All India Prize Money Independence Day Cup Football Tournament will be played between Sadar Hills FC and Assam Electricity Board FC at the Nurul Amin Stadium tomorrow at 4:30 pm.
The final match promises to be an exciting encounter between the newcomers from Manipur, Sadar Hills FC, and the defending champions, Assam Electricity Board FC. Both teams had a tough run in the 16-team tournament, with Sadar Hills FC defeating Three Brothers FC 6-2 (2-2) in the quarterfinals and Glovel FC 1-0 in the semifinals. Meanwhile, Electricity Board FC emerged victorious against Harisingh FC 7-5 (3-3) in the quarterfinals and Trinayan Goshti 3-1 in the semifinals, both wins coming through thrilling performances.

The defending champions, Electricity Board FC, will be looking to reclaim their title, and their opponents will be putting up a strong fight. The tournament organizers have announced that Pijush Hazarika, Minister of Water Resources, Information, and Public Relations, will be the Chief Guest at the final match.
