Seven Students Injured in Violent Clash at Moirabari College

Guwahati: A violent incident shook Moirabari College today when a group of local men reportedly assaulted students on campus, leaving seven injured.

According to sources, the clash stemmed from a dispute between two student factions over a cricket match. The situation escalated when the attackers, allegedly led by Amirul Islam and Ansarul Islam, targeted students, resulting in serious injuries.

The injured — Sahil, Miftahul, Zubeida, Faruk, Inamul, Rajiv, and Suleman — were immediately taken to nearby hospitals for medical treatment.

Moirabari police responded swiftly to restore order, and an investigation is underway to identify all involved and prevent further incidents. Authorities have assured that strict action will be taken against those responsible.
