Sewa Sankalp Abhiyan, Free Medical Camp Inaugurated in Dhakuakhana

DHAKUAKHANA, Oct 8: A free medical camp and a programme highlighting public welfare schemes of the Central and State governments were inaugurated at the Dhakuakhana Municipal Board premises on Wednesday as part of the ‘Sewa Sankalp Abhiyan’.

Dhakuakhana MLA Naba Kumar Doley inaugurated the programme, which was organised to mark the 25th anniversary of the Prime Minister’s public service. The event began with the inauguration of the camp’s main entrance and the lighting of a ceremonial lamp, followed by the rendition of ‘Vande Mataram’ and the national anthem.

Ward Commissioner Swarup Konwar delivered the welcome address, while Doley, who attended as the chief guest, addressed the gathering. He said the ‘Sewa Setu’ campaign was being implemented across the Dhakuakhana Municipal Board to make government services and welfare schemes more accessible to people.

Doley urged residents to participate in the programme and avail themselves of the benefits and services being offered through the initiative.

Municipal Board Chairperson Rajib Das delivered the vote of thanks. The programme concluded with the singing of the national anthem.
