Bilasipara: Education is the mirror of society, and teachers are its true architects. This fact was once again proven as three dedicated teachers from Bilasipara brought glory to the region by receiving recognition at the national level. In a grand ceremony held at Sarat Sadan, Shrikant Function Hall, under the Howrah Municipal Corporation in Kolkata, the World Charity Welfare Foundation conferred the National Best Teacher Award on three head teachers from Bilasipara and its adjoining areas.
The event was attended by educators and social activists from across India. The awardees include Ayub Uddin Ahmed, Head Teacher of Bethbari L.P. School; Abdul Mannan Sk, Head Teacher of Dudhnath L.P. School; and Mohiruddin Ahmed, Head Teacher of Singuli Killahara L.P. School in the neighboring Goalpara district. The achievement of these three educators has sparked joy and pride throughout Bilasipara. Local residents expressed their delight, stating: “Our teachers don’t just impart bookish knowledge, they instill values and a sense of responsibility towards society.

This recognition is the result of their dedication and tireless efforts.” Villagers described the honor as an inspiration, showing that from the smallest village one can rise to the highest levels through education. Representatives of the World Charity Welfare Foundation praised the teachers, calling them ‘role models in the field of education whose hard work and sincerity are shaping the future of countless children’. On stage, the awardees were felicitated with a traditional shawl, certificate of honor, and memento.
In their acceptance speech, the teachers humbly dedicated the award to their students, colleagues, and society, saying: ‘This honor is not just ours, but a victory of the trust and belief placed in us. We will continue to serve education and work for the bright future of children and society. It is noteworthy that Ayub Uddin Ahmed has previously been recognized with several prestigious honors, including the Best Teacher Award of Dhubri District, Adarsha Shikshak Samman, and Krity Shikshak Samman.

Similarly, Abdul Mannan Sk was recently awarded the Best Teacher of Dhubri District Award on this year’s Teachers’ Day. This recognition at the national level has elevated not only the reputation of the teachers but also the pride of the entire Bilasipara region.
