Agartala, July 19: Tripura Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha on Saturday felicitated meritorious students from the Town Bardowali Assembly Constituency at a programme held at Dr. Shyama Prasad Mookerjee Town Hall in Agartala, encouraging them to excel academically while upholding strong moral values.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister described students as the architects of the nation’s future and said they have a vital role in shaping society and contributing to the country’s progress. He urged the younger generation to focus not only on educational achievements but also on becoming responsible and compassionate individuals.
Saha stressed that the true purpose of education extends beyond academic success and should help students develop qualities such as discipline, integrity, social responsibility and empathy. He said these values are essential for building a stronger and more progressive society.
