Tripura CM Reviews Education Sector, Reaffirms Commitment to Quality Learning

Agartala, June 9: Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha chaired a comprehensive review meeting of the Education Department to assess the progress of ongoing initiatives and chart future priorities aimed at strengthening the state’s education system.

Sharing details of the meeting on X, the Chief Minister reiterated the government’s commitment to ensuring quality education for every child in Tripura and highlighted efforts being undertaken to improve educational outcomes across the state.

Saha said the government is continuously working to improve the teacher-student ratio, strengthen educational infrastructure and enhance learning standards in schools.

The Chief Minister emphasised that education remains a key pillar of Tripura’s development agenda and said the government is focused on building a strong foundation for future generations through improved access to quality learning opportunities.

During the meeting, officials reviewed the implementation of various educational programmes and discussed measures to further improve academic standards, infrastructure facilities and overall performance within the education sector.

The state government has been placing emphasis on upgrading school infrastructure, expanding educational access and strengthening teaching quality to provide better opportunities for students across Tripura.
