Udalguri Girl Dharitri Boro Secures Distinction in HSLC Examination

Udalguri-Sonitpur, April 14: Dharitri Boro, a student from Samuagao village in Orang Mouza of Udalguri district, has passed the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination with distinction, securing 82 per cent marks.

Daughter of Uttam Boro and Mridusmita Boro, Dharitri is the only child of the family and hails from the Mazbat Legislative Assembly Constituency. She completed her schooling at Don Bosco High School in Sirajuli, where she achieved letter marks in four subjects—Mathematics, Science, English, and Geography.

Her father, who previously worked as a labourer and now runs a small business, faced considerable hardships to support her education in a private institution. Despite financial challenges, Dharitri remained focused on her studies and delivered an outstanding academic performance.

On April 12, Orang VCDC President Benudhar Adhikari felicitated the student in recognition of her achievement. He presented her with a traditional gamosa and extended his congratulations, wishing her success in her future endeavours.

The felicitation programme was attended by several local figures, including Putul Deka, Secretary of the BPF Orang Primary Committee, Assistant Secretary Nayan Roy Choudhury, and senior journalist Naba Kumar Deka, among others, who also conveyed their appreciation for her accomplishment.
