Guwahati: In a shocking discovery, the body of a young man was found in a drain near Gate Hospital in the Mathgharia area of Guwahati on Sunday. The body was found alongside a KTM two-wheeler bearing registration number AS 01 FS 3360.
Local residents reportedly alerted the police after noticing the body submerged in the drain. Noonmati Police swiftly arrived at the scene and recovered both the body and the motorcycle.
Authorities are currently working to establish the man’s identity. Preliminary investigations are underway to determine whether it was an accident or if foul play was involved.
The body has been sent for post-mortem examination, and further details are awaited as the investigation continues.
