Guwahati: The Department of Computer Science at the University of Science & Technology marked Engineers’ Day with a vibrant inter-department competition themed “Innovation through Words, Code, and Lens.” The celebration aimed to showcase the creativity, technical skills, and innovative spirit of budding engineers.
The program featured three engaging contests. Off the Cuff, an extempore speech competition, tested students’ quick thinking and clarity of expression. Code Quest challenged participants’ problem-solving abilities and programming expertise, while Ordinary to Extraordinary through Lens encouraged students to capture compelling stories through photography.

The program was coordinated by Assistant Professors O. David Singh and Jasmine Ara Begum from the Department of Computer Science, whose guidance ensured the smooth conduct of the competitions.
