Sivasagar: The Youth Congress staged a protest near Nazira Chari Ali today, demanding immediate improvement of several key roads in the constituency, including the historic Dhodar Ali, Ramani Ali, and Naga Ali. The demonstrators highlighted that these vital roadways have remained in poor condition for a long time, causing serious inconvenience to commuters and local residents.
During the protest, the Youth Congress submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister through the Circle Development Officer (CDC) of Nazira. The memorandum detailed the dilapidated state of the roads and stressed the urgent need for repair and upgradation.

Youth Congress members stated that they have repeatedly raised concerns regarding the condition of these roads, which serve as crucial lifelines for transportation, trade, and daily movement in the area. The protest concluded with the demand that the state administration prioritize road development in the constituency without further delay.
