Zubeen Garg’s Kharguli Dream Home Illuminated by Fans This Diwali Despite Incomplete Construction

Guwahati: Though Zubeen Garg’s dream home on Kharguli hill remains unfinished, fans ensured that the spirit of the legendary singer shone brightly this Diwali. Admirers gathered at the hilltop residence, lighting diyas and even inscribing Zubeen Garg’s name in glowing letters, turning the incomplete structure into a beacon of remembrance and celebration.

The sprawling property, last visited by Zubeen on September 13, was envisioned as a serene creative haven, featuring a massive music studio, lush greenery, and panoramic views of the Brahmaputra River. It was intended to be the realization of his lifelong dream—a place where art, nature, and solitude could coexist.

Construction, however, is only about 40% complete. Reports indicate that Zubeen, upon returning from Singapore, had directed the masons to resume work, but the home remains far from finished.

Despite this, his fans turned the unfinished house into a luminous tribute, celebrating Zubeen Garg’s legacy and ensuring that the essence of his dreams continued to inspire the community. The gesture reflects the deep admiration and enduring bond that his followers share with the iconic singer.
