Biswanath Chariali: In a tragic road accident that took place at Sejusa on Wednesday night a youth lost his life. According to information, a speedy dumper approaching from the Arunachal Pradesh side hit a motorcycle bearing registration number AS 32 A 0711 near the entry point to the neighbouring state resulting in the instant death of the youth who was identified as Ishan Basumatary (20 years).

The dumper managed to flee away from the site due to the night. Based on an input, a team from the Itakhola outpost reached the accident site and traced the identity of the owner of the motorcycle. Yet the motorcycle belonged to one Ranjan Ramsiyari, a resident of Jaisidhhi, Balijuri of Itakhola outpost under Biswanath district but Ishan Basumatary had taken the motorcycle that day who met the fatal death. The dumper which was deployed in a construction work in Arunachal Pradesh had surrendered at the Itakhola outpost this morning. The body of the deceased was sent for autopsy.
