Dhakuakhana: Ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections, the Chief Minister addressed a massive rally at Dhakuakhana during the Vijay Sankalp Yatra in Lakhimpur district. Arriving by helicopter, the Chief Minister spoke at the public ground, outlining a vision for transforming the 77th Dhakuakhana Assembly constituency through focused development in agriculture, sericulture and fisheries sectors. He announced that financial assistance of Rs 25,000 would be provided to women in the constituency, along with extending benefits of the Orunodoi Scheme to 10,000 women and 10,000 youth in the coming days.

The rally witnessed the presence of BJP and alliance candidate Naba Doley, along with Sanmilita Ganashakti Assam Party leader Sunil Pegu, Zila Parishad president Sonia Bargohai, BJP state member Basanta Saikia and AGP leader Mahesh Doley, among others. Calling upon voters to support the NDA, the Chief Minister urged the people of Dhakuakhana to ensure a decisive victory for the alliance candidate in the upcoming polls.
