Following the discovery, the Indian Army’s Red Shield Division swiftly deployed a bomb disposal squad to the site. As a precautionary measure, residents in the surrounding areas were evacuated and a safety perimeter was established. The team later transported the explosives to a secure location away from habitation and carried out a controlled detonation to neutralise the threat.

Officials confirmed that the entire operation was conducted smoothly without any damage to property or risk to human life. Authorities lauded the prompt response and coordination of the security forces, noting that the timely action helped avert a potentially hazardous situation in the district.
