Biswanath Chariali: The Assam Rifles Women’s Football Team continued their brilliant performance in the 74th BN Mullick All India Police Football Championship 2025–26 being held at Hyderabad, Telangana, and have successfully advanced into the finals of the championship stated in a press release. The team remained unbeaten throughout the league stage, registering impressive victories against various police teams. Assam Rifles defeated Manipur Police 5–0, Odisha Police 4–0, Tamil Nadu Police 2–0, and Maharashtra Police 3–0 to top the league stage and qualify for the semifinals.

In the semifinal match, the Assam Rifles Women’s Football Team defeated Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) with a convincing scoreline of 3–1, thereby securing their place in the finals of the championship. The Assam Rifles Women’s Team will now face Odisha Police in the final match scheduled to be played on April 4 next. The team’s outstanding performance throughout the tournament reflects their dedication, teamwork, and high standard of training, bringing pride and honour to the Assam Rifles.
