Dr. Pratim Talukdar First Northeastern Dentist to Earn Global Implant Mastership

Guwahati: Dr. Pratim Talukdar, a leading prosthodontist and implantologist at PA Sangma International Medical College & Hospital (PIMC), has become the first dental surgeon from Northeast India to achieve the prestigious Certificate of Mastership in Implant Dentistry awarded by the Global College of Oral Implantologists (GCOI) (Membership ID: 25-MIC-A-0309).

PIMC, a constituent college of the University of Science & Technology Meghalaya (USTM), congratulated Dr. Talukdar on this historic milestone, noting that his accomplishment elevates the region’s presence in advanced dental care.

The Mastership is awarded to dental professionals who demonstrate academic excellence, clinical proficiency, and expertise in implant dentistry. With this recognition, Dr. Talukdar joins an elite global community of implant dentistry specialists, reinforcing his commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in restorative dental surgery, dental implants, and full-mouth rehabilitation.

A well-respected name in prosthodontics, Dr. Talukdar holds BDS and MDS degrees and has earned international fellowships including FICOI (USA) and FADI (USA).
