Congress Launches Talent Hunt Programme in Mizoram to Groom Political Communicators and Grassroots Leaders

Aizawl, May 2: The Indian National Congress on May 1 rolled out a talent hunt initiative in Mizoram aimed at identifying and training a new generation of political communicators and grassroots leaders.

Announcing the programme at a press conference in Aizawl, party national spokesperson Ritu Choudhary said the initiative would focus on three key areas: spokespersons, research coordinators, and publicity coordinators. The effort is designed to build a cadre of individuals equipped to engage in public discourse and contribute to policy discussions.

Choudhary stated that the programme seeks to strengthen democratic dialogue and enhance the party’s outreach by preparing young voices capable of effectively communicating governance-related issues. She added that the initiative is intended to create a structured platform for nurturing talent within the organisation.

The Mizoram launch forms part of the party’s broader nationwide “National Talent Hunt” programme, introduced last year to train future media panellists, communicators, and organisational leaders across India.
