Guwahati, May 6: Krisanu Dev Ray brought distinction to Bongaigaon district after securing the 22nd position in the state in the MBBS final examination results declared this year.
A resident of Kakoijana in Bongaigaon, Ray pursued his medical studies at Gauhati Medical College, where he completed his course with notable academic performance.
Roy achieved honours in key subjects including Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and Otorhinolaryngology, reflecting his strong academic standing in both core and specialized areas of medical science.
He is the son of Manabendra Dev Roy, Director of the Information and Public Relations Department of the Assam Government and an officer of the Assam Police Service.
His achievement has been regarded as a significant academic milestone, bringing pride to his family as well as his home district.
