Congress MLA Tanzil Hussain Visits Tarabari Bazaar, Promises Focus on Development in Samaguri

Nagaon, May 14: Newly elected Congress MLA Tanzil Hussain on Wednesday visited Tarabari Bazaar in Dakhin Khatowal under Assam’s Nagaon district and interacted with local residents and party workers during a public outreach programme.

During the visit, the young legislator met people from the Dakhin Khatowal panchayat area and discussed several local issues affecting the constituency.

Addressing the gathering, Tanzil Hussain said that despite being in the opposition, he would continue to work for the development of the constituency, with particular emphasis on education and healthcare.

“We may be in the opposition, but we will continue carrying out developmental work and remain with the people,” he said.

The Congress MLA also stated that the concerns and problems faced by residents of the Samaguri constituency would be raised in the Assam Legislative Assembly in the coming days.

Expressing optimism about the future of the constituency, Hussain said Samaguri would witness major progress and “shine in a new form” in the years ahead.

Several Congress leaders and workers attended the programme, including Garajan Block Congress president Tariq Ahmed, Muklesh Ahmed, Youth Congress leader Raju Choudhury and other party supporters.
