SIT to submit Zubeen Garg’s viscera report to CM Sarma Today

Guwahati — In a major development in the investigation into the death of renowned singer-composer Zubeen Garg, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) is set to receive the viscera report, which will later be handed over to Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.

According to reports, the forensic report, prepared in New Delhi, will be formally presented to the Chief Minister on Saturday morning. The findings are expected to shed crucial light on the exact cause of the singer’s death, which remains under an intensive probe by the Crime Investigation Department (CID).

Officials suggest that the viscera analysis will play a pivotal role in determining whether Zubeen Garg’s death was natural or occurred under other circumstances.

Earlier, Chief Minister Sarma had assured that the charge sheet would be filed within three months, reiterating the government’s commitment to a transparent and time-bound investigation.
