Guwahati: The Assam Police has issued a directive requiring 11 Assamese people residing in Singapore to physically appear in Assam for questioning.
The decision rules out the possibility of virtual questioning via video conference.
According to the CID, which has obtained the names of these individuals, the people must return to Assam to cooperate with the authorities.
Special DGP MP Gupta on Saturday has ordered to appear before the investigating team.
