Gossaigaon : A road safety awareness programme was organised at Gossaigaon on Thursday under the initiative of the Traffic Branch of Gossaigaon Police Station. The programme was conducted at the SS Market area near National Highway-17B, where students of Science Academy Gossaigaon actively participated alongside traffic police personnel.

During the awareness drive, the police officials and students sensitised commuters, particularly motorcycle riders, about various road safety rules and regulations. The participants highlighted the importance of wearing helmets, obeying traffic rules while driving, avoiding over speeding, and refraining from driving under the influence of alcohol.
The organisers stated that such awareness initiatives are being undertaken with the objective of reducing road accidents and promoting safe transportation practices. The participants also appealed to the public to spread the message of road safety across society.
