SIT Recovers Deleted Videos Showing Zubeen Garg’s Final Moments: Reports

Guwahati: In a major breakthrough in the probe into the mysterious death of singer-actor Zubeen Garg, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) has reportedly recovered video footage capturing his final moments before his death.

According to reports, the videos — which had been deleted — were retrieved by the SIT’s cyber experts during a detailed forensic analysis. The crucial footage was found on a mobile phone belonging to Amritprabha and another electronic device seized during the ongoing investigation.

Zubeen’s manager, Siddharth Sharma, confirmed that the videos were deleted by Amritprabha and others, but SIT experts successfully restored the files, which could offer key insights into the events leading up to the artiste’s demise.

Officials stated that the recovered footage could prove decisive in reconstructing the sequence of events and determining whether any foul play was involved. The SIT continues to analyse the digital evidence as part of its comprehensive investigation into the case.
