Girish and The Chronicles Set for Portugal, Spain Shows on Second 2026 Europe Tour

Indian rock band Girish and The Chronicles (GATC) will return to Europe for performances in Portugal and Spain, marking their second international tour of 2026.

The band will make its Portugal debut at the 17th Milagre Metaleiro Open Air Festival, scheduled from August 21 to 23. The festival lineup includes international metal acts such as Paradise Lost, The Haunted, Enforcer, Crematory, Primal Fear and former Iron Maiden frontman Blaze Bayley.

GATC said it was looking forward to performing alongside the international acts and making its first appearance in Portugal.

The band will then travel to Spain for a headline performance at the Valdor Rock Festival in Burgos on August 29. Burgos has been an important stop on GATC’s European journey since its first visit in 2022, with the band saying it has developed a loyal following among audiences there.

The upcoming shows follow the band’s Australia tour in March. GATC is also preparing to release its fourth studio album, which will feature its recently released single, “Generation Coward”.

The Portugal and Spain performances will add to the band’s growing international presence among European rock and metal audiences.
