Guwahati: Assam Photographic Arts (APA) successfully organised APA Photography Exhibition at the Guwahati Artists’ Guild premises from October 15 to 19. The vibrant exhibition showcased the creative brilliance of 87 talented photo artists from Assam and across India, featuring an impressive collection of 128 photographs and 12 compelling photo-stories.
The exhibition celebrated the boundless power of visual storytelling – from the enchanting beauty of nature, landscapes, rural life, and festivities to fashion, portraits, and still life compositions. Each frame offered a unique glimpse into the world through the lens of diverse photographers.

A special highlight of this year’s exhibition was a dedicated wall in honour of the legendary Zubeen Garg, showcasing rare photographs that traced the beloved artist’s journey – from his charismatic performances to his final farewell, capturing the emotional connection he shared with his countless admirers.
Adding to its global flavour, the exhibition also featured captivating snapshots from Africa, Vietnam, and beyond, reflecting the universal language of photography and its power to bridge cultures.
The APA Photography Exhibition 2025 once again reaffirmed Assam Photographic Arts’ commitment to nurturing creativity, promoting photographic excellence, and celebrating the art of storytelling through the lens.
