Although we have strong candidates in all the 21 seats, we are sure to win atleast 5-6 seats”.

He added, “A large chunk of minority voters reside in the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR). They have always faced problems in the region. The minority communities earlier in BTR used to vote for the BPF but now they are with the Trinamool Congress. The minority community in the region have also discarded the Congress this time and are with us. There will be division of votes this time amongst the BPF, UPPL, BJP and the Congress and this will help our party immensely”.
