Bengaluru: Kargil war veteran Shivananda Reddy is reportedly battling for his life at a hospital in Bengaluru after allegedly attempting suicide, with his wife blaming alleged humiliation by police for his deteriorating mental state. According to a report by Republic World, Reddy’s wife, Kanthamma, alleged that police personnel humiliated her husband and claimed that he was treated disrespectfully during a recent incident. She further alleged that Reddy was denied an opportunity to meet Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister and Revenue Minister Dr G. Parameshwara.
