NAGAON, Sept 6: A man was detained in Kathiatoli after his 13-year-old daughter and her mother allegedly accused him of sexually abusing the minor repeatedly over a period of two years.
The accused, identified as Pankaj Bora, was allegedly confronted by local residents in Dikrum Karbi village following the complaints. Residents later handed him over to Kathiatoli Police.
Police have begun investigating the allegations and are gathering details surrounding the case. Further legal action will follow based on the findings of the investigation.
