Dhakuakhana, Oct 15: Mising organisations organised a torch rally in Matmora under the Dhakuakhana district committee to raise awareness against substance abuse, alcoholism, drug use and child marriage.
The rally was part of an initiative to prevent anti-social activities and promote a healthy, safe and aware society. The organisers appealed to the public to unite against these social problems and safeguard the future of the younger generation.
MMK central committee member Mohan Pegu and TMPK central committee literary secretary Dipanjal Doley, along with other local and district-level leaders, attended the programme.
